How often should I pump my septic tank in Riverside County?
There is no county-mandated interval, and any page that tells you the county requires pumping every 3 years is wrong. Riverside County’s Local Agency Management Program sets no ongoing pumping or desludging requirement for conventional systems. The real interval depends on tank size, household size, and measured sludge and scum depths, which is why we measure rather than assume.
